Stone Age Workshop
In an unforgettable journey through time, Year 3 immersed themselves in the fascinating world of the Stone Age during an engaging and interactive workshop. With excitement in the air, they tried their hand at spear throwing and marvelled at fire-making demonstrations that showcased their incredible skills.
To bring history to life, the children even got to touch real flint stones from millions of years ago and embarked on an exciting Sabre cat tooth dig. Their artistic talents shone through as they had a go at cave painting. At the end of the workshop, the children were surprised with a snow machine which transported them back to a world of ice and stone, where a life-sized Stone Age man and wolf greeted them, truly making history come alive. It was an enriching and educational experience that the children loved!
