Remembrance Day
On Friday 9 November Belmore held assemblies to show our respect as part of Remembrance Day.
Year 6 students did a fantastic job at running the Key Stage 2 Assembly telling us all about the purpose of Remembrance Day and the significance of the red poppy, then finishing with a reading of the poem, 'In Flanders' Fields'.
Key Stage 1 held a similar assembly run by the teachers.
The whole school observed a one minute silence as a mark of respect.
