This year's sports day was filled with a lot of laughter and cheer. Children and staff were grouped into House Teams and had a spectacular time competing against each other to win points for their House. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed taking part in all the activities.

On Thursday 13 May, Eid Al-Fitr marked the end of the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims.
To celebrate the occasion we invited children to come to school in their Eid/party clothes on Friday 14 May.
Belmore went red and had a great day putting smiles on everyone's faces for Red Nose Day.

Belmore had a delicious Christmas lunch with festive songs playing throughout lunchtime. Our kitchen staff dressed up in Santa outfits to add to the festive mood. Class teachers joined their class for lunch and everyone had fun pulling Christmas crackers.
Belmore children and staff swapped their uniforms and suits and dazzled the school in their festive knitwear for Christmas Jumper Day.
Key Stage 1 children have been practising their Christmas performances all week to celebrate the festive season. The children did a brilliant job in rehearsals and a phenomenal job remembering all the songs during their final recorded performance.
This half term we have enjoyed creating masterpieces for DT week! Again, our theme had a humanities focus with pieces such as Maya Temples, Viking Purses and Ancient Greek toys being created. Children learnt many new skills including knitting and clay modelling.
Belmore started the month by transforming the school into the festive season. Each class decorated their own Christmas Hoops which were displayed in the school halls for everyone to admire.
Belmore took part in 'Odd Sock Day' for the start of Anti-Bullying Week to celebrate how we are all different and unique.
Belmore had a fantastic day supporting and fundraising for BBC Children in Need. Parents, children and staff made an amazing effort supporting this cause.
The children looked spectacular in their spotty, yellow and/or Pudsey clothes.
Belmore celebrated Diwali “Festival of Lights” by dressing in colourful clothes.
