Year 3 Answering the Big Question

They have explored the causes and consequences of the invasion and are learning about how one brave Celt woman; Queen Boudica of the Iceni tribe, built a rebellion against the Romans around 61AD.

They have been creating an image of her using facts and writing from the time when she lived. They are now designing their own shield using Celtic symbols and their knowledge of the weaponry of the time. 

The Children's shields are representations of them and also Celtic symbols. They are designing their own coats of arms and emblems.
